This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 04 November 1960 "Some members of the Palmerston North branch of the Manawatu Pony Club enjoy watching the progress of the horse events in the main ring at the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association's 68th annual Show being held at the Showgrounds today and tomorrow. Those in the photograph are (from the left): J. Davey, E. Hanson, H. Denton, G. Hawkes, I. Denton, G. Quin and H. Wilson."
