This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 12th January, 1963. "Travelling at over one thousand trouble-free miles, with the exception of two punctures, this 1927 Erskine car has returned to the city with its very pleased owners. Purchased about six weeks ago for £35 by Mr M. Fearon (right) and Mr J. McGrath (left), it took them on a tour of the North Island. The car is in good condition despite its age. It has had only five owners. The car caused much interest wherever it pulled up."
