Children of James John Loudon, the Clerk in charge of the Goods Department at the Palmerston North Railway Station. Born at Port Chalmers,1865 and educated in Otago, James Louden entered the Railways in 1884, and arrived in Palmerston North 1890. He was a member of the Manawatu Kilwinning Lodge.
