Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on 08 April 1963, "Mrs W. Peck, one of 15 Ashhurst pensioners who received a truckload of firewood from the Ashhurst Jaycees on Saturday, chats with Messrs P. Collison and A. Robert (on truck) shortly before the first barrowloads were wheeled into her shed. The wood (15 cord of it), donated by Mr. B. Youle, of Ashhurst, was cut into handy lengths."
