This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 27 April 1963 "Today 50 Jaycee members delivered 200 cord of slab timber donated by Mr. H. Croucher, of Treelands, to the old folk of the city. The convener (Mr. V. Larsen) had arranged with several carrying services to deliver the firewood and, in turn, they donated their services for free. At each home the Jaycees stacked the wood in dry places for the aged people. Above is a group operating in Church Street this morning stacking wood for the 93-year-old couple, Mr. and Mrs. J. Brooks."
