Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 09 August 1960 "Four double and two single unit pensioners' flats have been built in Foxton and were officially opened yesterday by the Minister of Housing (Mr. Fox). Costing £9750 on completion, the flats lack nothing in comparison with modern houses. A general view of the flats at the opening ceremony is seen above."
