This is the first newsletter of the Palmerston North Women's Refuge Trust. The organisation was established by Adrienne Baird and Wendy Craig in 1979 and initially located in rental accommodation on the corner of Tremaine Avenue and Rangitikei Street. The newsletter provides background information, describes the activities of the refuge, outlines opportunities for volunteers and seeks donations of money or household items.
