"Above is the charm and grace of the debutante gowns worn by the five young women presented at the Scottish Ball in the Ballroom Astoria last night. They were (from the left): Misses Judith Mitchell, Dianne McIntosh, Josephine Hubbard, Lesley Annear and Pamela Roddick (Feilding). In the front are the two young attendants, Alex Mackay (Ferguson tartan) and Jacqueline Jones (Chisholm tartan)."
