This is the home of the Prentice family in Boundary Road. The brickworks can be seen at the back of the cottage. All the bricks in All Saint's Church and many other local buildings were made here. Christian names from left to right: Albert Bernard, William John, Emma Lilly, Phoebe, Olive, Florence Jane, Alice Maude, Anna Allen, Herbert Ernest and Mr Prentice. John Prentice purchased the brickworks in Boundary Road (now Tremaine Avenue), Palmerston North, in 1900.
