Description

Henry and Herman Dittmer cutting timber for their house on Scotts Road, near Linton, watched by Jack Irvine (seated). The area was also known as Hilltop and Moto Rimu. The house was later sold to the Crawford brothers, one of whom remained in possession of the house until 1970. It was later wrecked by vandals.
