Much parent involvement. Then Board of Trustees. Released from teaching. Numerous policies required, increased paperwork. Retired 1992, changes since then. Parent interviews, visiting poorer parents. School swimming pools. Children from foreign countries. Now police checks and parents working, so need teacher aides. Workload. Retirement after 40 years. Year off in the middle. Token policies. Music.
