Victor Klee's Queen's South Africa Medal (QSA) - Obverse
- Description
Victor Klee was awarded this medal for his service during the Boer War in South Africa. He was given stripes for service in 1901 and 1902, as well as the state clasp for Transvaal (indicating that this is where he served). The face depicts Queen Victoria, with the words Victoria Regina et Imperatrix. The obverse depicts Britannia holding the Union Flag in her left hand and a laurel wreath in her right hand, watching over British troops. Also see 2014P_IMCA-DigitalMaster_008484.
