Ann Maria Spry (nee Woolford) with her eldest daughter Alice and youngest daughter Edith in front of their house on Medway Street in Rongotea. Ann Maria was married to Thomas Spry - a blacksmith, who died 29 September 1901 at 45 years of age. Her parents were Charles and Sarah Woolford were early settlers in the Bulls/Rangitikei region. Ann Maria and Thomas had 8 children and they are both buried in Rongotea. Edith married John Holland and they had 4 children and they both are buried in Palmerston North. Alice Spry married Fred Burgess. They had five children - Evelyn, Annie, George, Russell and Sydney.
