Richard Abraham established himself as a stock and station agent, wool broker and auctioneer in Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North, with partner Alec Williams of Hawkes Bay. The business built several saleyards were built around the Manawatu Region. Their Head Office, located on the corner of Grey and Rangitikei Streets, was demolished in the 1990s.
