The Grenadier Guards Band toured New Zealand, and performed in Palmerston North. Here they are accorded a Civic welcome at the band rotunda in The Square, by the Mayor, Mr. A E Mansford, before marching to the Showgrounds to give their concert. This rotunda was the second constructed in The Square, the first rotunda was moved to the Esplanade in 1907.
