This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26 March, 1959. "When most people were sleeping these buns were being removed from the ovens and were later packing and sent to the deep freeze. The photograph was taken at 3 a.m. and shows Messrs G. Burns and B. Hooper removing the finished produce from the long baker's oven." Another unpublished photo 2017N_2017-20_015151.
