This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22 September 1960 "Messrs J.C. Webly, C. Robinson and F.W. Poole, the first two prominent daffodil growers in the Manawatu, and the last-named a leading judge in the area, discussing the merits of one of the premier blooms at the Palmerston North Horticultural show today."
