This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26 June 1961 "Chill winds did not stop many people from watching a display of fruit-tree pruning at Mr. J. McKegg's property in Albert Street. The demonstration was run by the Department of Agriculture in conjunction with the Palmerston North Horticultural Society. Mr. T.N. Flint is shown addressing the group."
