Description

Looking towards The Square, Palmerston North, from the Rangitikei Street railway overbridge, just past the Tremaine Avenue corner. The overbridge was built to accommodate the Main Trunk railway line that was moved from the centre of Palmerston North to the outskirts of the city in the early 1960s. In the distance is the T and G building (left) and the Clock Tower (right of centre ).
