This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 13 May 1961 "Here are six of the 90 members of Young Farmers' Clubs attending a fortnight's course at Massey Agricultural College. A large map of New Zealand in the college common-room is pierced by coloured flags indicating the home bases of the men and their types of farms. Each student is pointing to his home district, except the man fourth from the left (MR.C. Payne, of Pennsylvania)., who cannot locate the United States on the map. The men are (from left): Messrs. A. Harvey (Opunake), K.M. Harrison (Dargaville), D. Bean (Morrinsville), R.C. Payne (Pennsylvania, United States), G.R. Wilkes (Opiki), D. Muir (Winton, Southland)."
