Arnold Matthew Peter Hall became assistant Town Clerk of the Palmerston North City Council in 1945. He later succeeded Mr J R Hardie as Town Clerk in 1954. This photograph is on the occasion of his retirement in 1974. He died January 1983. Article in Manawatu Standard 25 January 1974.
