This photograph looks across the Square towards Church Street West. This quadrant of The Square features a lakelet which was opened in 1909. The All Saints Church can be seen through the trees, while the Grand Hotel (built in 1906) stands on the corner of Church Street and the Square. R and E Tingey and Company stood beside the Grand Hotel.
