Description

The son of John Nelson (a member of the Fire Brigade and later night-watchman for the Borough Council), Harold Nelson was the ball boy for the Manawatū representative rugby team. He was born in 1900 and died 19 July 1967. This is one of the first green and white jerseys - colours that would become iconic as the Manawatu colours.
