Album contains photos of the Dumbleton family, extended families and holidays in New Zealand and England. Most images not identified. Not in chronological order. The name Mina Dumbleton is handwritten inside the front cover.

The Dumbleton family lived in Cook Street. There were four daughters: Mina; Eileen, who married and became Eileen Ward; Olive, who married and became Olive Day; Marie.

Eileen was a milliner and had a daughter, Marion. Marion married Ford McQuay, an American Marine in Wellington c.1942, and had one son Harrison in 1955 (all featured in album). After being widowed Marion moved to 33 Havill Street, Palmerston North.
