This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22 September 1960 "Member organisations of the Palmerston North Community Chest collected envelopes and brochures last evening for dispersal to householders in Palmerston North next Saturday in readiness for the annual house-to-house appeal on October 1.
