Correspondence between the Manawatu Chinese Association and the Town Clerk of the Palmerston North City Council seeking permission to use a house or hall as their Association rooms. The Association wished to use these facilities "to serve as a centre for the Chinese of the Manawatu, for our Association meeting, for Chinese pictures, which are held once a month; and for the use of out Chinese Youth Club for table tennis." They ultimately purchased a property at 90 Napier Road.
