Ron Grammer was a prisoner of war in Italy during World War II. This photo was labelled POW camp. Back of the photo says "Same as the small photo. Compound showing rough shelters & rocky nature of the pen. There is a deep gully that the pen is on the edge of between where we were & the ridge in the background."
