This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22 December, 1959. “Messrs Barraud and Abraham, Ltd., have made full use of the side wall to their new building by displaying the various travelling companies they represent with these colourful signs. Workmen were engaged today in completing the signs.”
