Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 17 November 1960 "The one-way wooden bridge on Milson Line, which has prevented a free flow of traffic on the road for many years, has been removed to make way for a new structure. The photograph shows the Mangaone Stream and the gap in the road where the old bridge once crossed it. A Bailey bridge has been erected until the new bridge is constructed."
