Description

The information for this image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 13th May 1992.

"A tribute to Bob Marley, featuring former Palmerstonians Brian Taite, is being held at The Albert tonight. Taite last played Palmerston North two years ago with the Twelve Tribes of Israel. He is now promoting his new single, Lost in Love, and has two more tracks to do to complete a new album.

"Brother Zeb", as he is known, recently spent some time at "reggae school" in Jamaica, learning so of the finer points of his craft. From Palmerston North, Taite and his act go to Wellington, then to Dannevirke, before winding up in Hawkes Bay. In August, the act goes to Japan, to a reggae sunsplash."
