Description

This photo shows hanks of washed fibre being taken off the poles and stacked onto a dray, ready for carting to the bleaching paddocks – apparently at the end of Stewart Street, Foxton. This particular mill was owned by Bock and Coley and was situated on the west side of the Manawatu River.
