Nail making machines in Eclipse Wire Products factory. The company was established in Christchurch in 1920, and a branch opened in Palmerston North in 1925. Palmerston North subsequently expanded to become the head office, with factory, office and yards occupying half an acre. Eclipse Wire Products no longer operates and the building was then occupied by outlet businesses (2008). It is currently a car park servicing the neighbouring businesses [2020]
