"Craiglockhart", was erected in 1889-1890 for Mr Charles Monro (1851-1933) of Palmerston North. It was sold by the family to Massey Agricultural College in 1944. For a time it was known as 'Moginie House' and used as accommodation for women students. Its name has now reverted to 'Craiglockhart', and it is still used as student accommodation for Massey University.
