View From the Top of the former Palmerston North Public Library Building, Main Street
- Description
Looking north over the city from the top of the old Public Library building on Main Street. In the distance at right can be see the multi storey Palmerston North Hospital. St Patrick's Cathedral spire is the other notable landmark. The building on the left is the old Post Office building (now Highflyer's Bar, 2014). The Public Library was opened in 1964 and served until 1996. It is now called the Square Centre.
