This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 28 July 1958, page 6: "Top Rugby players from all over the North Island arrived in the city yesterday and early today for tomorrow's All Black trails. Here one group are seen assembled at the Palmerston North Railway Station. In the middle of the picture is R. Brown of Taranaki, one of New Zealand's best post-war five-eighths."
