This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 6 July, 1959. "Back at work this morning at the desk of the joinery factory he owns in partnership, B. E. L. Finlay, Manawatu's sole All Black for the first New Zealand Test team to meet the British Isles Rugby tourists at Carisbrook, Dunedin, is caught by the "Manawatu Standard" camera. Alongside him is the "hot" telephone which still rings constantly bearing messages of congratulations."
