Palmerston North Rifle Volunteers Funeral Procession
- Description
This photograph shows a funeral procession about to proceed to the Terrace End Cemetery (see also 2014N_A1_009357). The funeral must have been that of a member of the Rifle Volunteers or Mounted Rifles because member of both of these corps are present. The group of men in slouch hats are Mounted Riflemen. The coffin has been placed on a vehicle drawn by four horses.
