The Phoenix Cricket Club were winners of the 1912-1913 Wednesday Competition. The officers of the team at this time were: Mr S. Greer (patron); Mr F.J. Nathan (president); Messrs N. Sinclair (vice-president), M. Millar (vice-president), A. Giorgi. F. Kensington (vice-president), G. Seifert (vice-president); J. S. Watchorn (vice-president) and E. S. Dixon (vice-president); Mr WH Burges (secretary and treasurer); Messrs Trotman, Boon, Greer, Wakelin, Kerslake (management committee); selection committees: (A Team) Mellor (captain) and Watchorn; Messrs Colch (captain) and Wakelin (B team).
