Palmerston North Amateur Swimming Club Archive Book

The Palmerston North Amateur Swimming Club archive book was created to record the Club's history. It contains lists of Club swimming records, life members, Presidents, Club Captains, Swimmers of the Year, along with photographs, news clippings and other memorabilia. As items were cellotaped in some of them appear to have been lost.
The Amateur Swimming Club was formed in 1904. When the Ashley Street public pool was built in 1917 they met there, and then moved to the Lido complex when it was built in 1966.
