John Chamber's Tractor Interior
- Description
John Chambers & Son was a local engineering business established in 1892 importing and selling a range of equipment for the mining, water and dairy industries. Later the business supplied tractors and other agricultural equipment to farmers until 1965 when it was taken over by Andrews and Beaven in 1965. John Chambers Junior worked in collaboration with others to devise a 3 point hydraulic linkage and draft control system for use with tractors.
