Mr Anton Martin Schweigaard Nannestad (`852-1912), brother of Jacob Nannestad of Richter, Nannestad and Co. An early Scandinavian settler of Palmerston North, Anton Nannestad was managing the Trondhjem Sawmill near Bunnythorpe during the early 1880's. However, this mill was not by Richter, Nannestad and Co. Anton Nannestad worked for his brother at Palmerston North and Bunnythorpe in the 1870s and 1880s, leaving Palmerston North in 1886.
