Description

These unpublished images were taken alongside an image that was captioned in the Manawatū Evening Standard on 30th November 1973.

"Mrs V. B. Short, provincial president of the Women's Division of Federated Farmers presents the city librarian, Mr L. W. Malcom, with a Scandinavian cook book. The presentation was in honour of the late Mrs M. M. Oden who came to New Zealand from Denmark in 1928 and had a long and distinguished record of service with the WDFF. The book bears an inscription commemorating Mrs Oden's service."
