Second rank is possibly the cadet corps. The third rank is the Palmerston North Rifles under Captain Mounsey ( auctioneer and founder of Mounsey & Co.). The fourth rank is Palmerston North Guards under Captain McMurray. The fifth rank is unknown. E S Baker is pictured in the middle of the fourth rank.
