This image shows the Junior section of Girls Life Brigade. Generally, each section would be attached to a particular local church or other religious group. This group stands outside St Paul's Methodist Church. The woman on the left is the Captain of the group, while the older girl on the right (identified as Betty Fabrin) is dressed in the uniform worn by the senior group, possibly the Lieutenant of the group. Each of the girls' sashes have a star indicating the awards they had achieved during the year. This organisation later became a part of the general Girls Brigade movement.
