Post and Telegraph staff and vehicles, Main Street
- Description
The lines and workshop staff of Post and Telegraph were located in the Chief Post Office on the corner of Main Street and The Square. In the centre is a Thornycroft truck, which was used to take line supplies over to Napier directly after the earthquake. The next vehicle to the right is a 1938 Ford V8. People identified, from right: Rex Watson; Herbert Edwards; Lew Findlay; Fred Haxton; Fred Bennett; ?auri Waugh(Workshop staff). Rest unknown.
