Map showing part of the area bought by the Government to open up the interior of the lower North Island. it follows the courseof the Manawatu and Oroua Rivers. "The main part of this map is traced from one drawn by Mr G L Adkin in Nov. 1956 based on a half-scale copy (dated 1860) of J T Stewart's 2 inches to 1 mile survey of 1859. Additional names and data are from other maps by J T Stewart and from other sources. Additional pa sites have been added from a rough map drawn by the Hon. Mr W. Moffat. As the latter was not to scale these sites may be out of their true position and have been marked thus + for reference. A. E (?) Williams. August 1961"

Topographical map showing boundaries proposed by the Palmerston North City Council (August and November 1988) and Local Government Commission (Interim Determination and Draft, December 1988. In 1989 there was New Zealand wide reform of Local Government. At the time about 850 local bodies were amalgamated into 86 local authorities, made up of regional and territorial levels.

Architectural plans created for the A&P association, circa August 1940. Plans Include the original A&P Hall, exterior entrance, Ladie’s Restroom, pig and sheep pavilions, an overall site plan, as well as alterations and additions to existing buildings.
The showgrounds were opened in 1886 on the site of the first cemetery plot in Palmerston North, and still stand bound by Cuba, Pascal, Waldegrave and Featherston Streets. Situated near the CBD of Palmerston North on Cuba Street, the site is currently called Central Energy Trust and boasts 6 arenas.

Land to be sold at the Public Hall, Palmerston (North) on Monday, 21 February 1881. Plan comprises portions of blocks V, VI, IX, X & XIII of Kairanga County. Surveyed by T M Drummond in 1878 and G W Thompson in 1880. Land composes the area now encompassed by Cloverlea and Westbrook suburbs.

The Sledge Track is located at the end of Kahuterawa Road, 17 km from the Palmerston North. It was opened in 2003. GPS (Global Positioning System) readings and old survey maps guided ensure the track follows the original road to the point where it linked up with the loop tracks within Hardings Park. Ian Matheson, Palmerston North City Archivist, was greatly involved with the historical maps on the signage.
