This image was taken for a story that ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on July 23 1969 with the caption, "Radio station 2ZA has gone to the moon - or at least they pretended to yesterday. Broadcasting for two hours in the PDC, two of the announcers present were dressed as a moon man and an astronaut. Here Girls' High School pupils are confronted by astronaut Ross Taylor and 'moon man' Johnny Shearer (right)." This image shows a male pupil watching the pair.
