Description

Located at the southern end of Coleman Place, the Hallenstein building was originally an agricultural retail shop, until bought by Hallensteins in 1923. It is now owned by the Palmerston North City Council and is called the Youth Space. The 'Midland Hotel' building is what remains of the Hotel, which stood to the right of this section.
