Taken from the bluff across the Manawatu River which is now known as Anzac Park. the photograph looks north across the golf course, in the foreground, towards J H P Strang’s two storey residence in the middle distance left. This house, which stands of the north side of the Hokowhitu Lagoon, is now known as Caccia Birch house.
