George Grant (c1857-1901) was Headmaster of College Street School 1893-1901. This memorial tablet was installed at the school in 1902. The tablet was prepared by Mr S Dowdall and the arms and motto were designed by Mr Poad, an old boy, and drawn by Mr L Watkin. Its location is now unknown.
